Location: Suffolk, Suffolk Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Benefits

Senior Planner - Nuclear – Suffolk

We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary contractor with presence across the UK and proven success in a variety of sectors including Rail, Utilities, Energy, Roads, Energy etc. Due to continued growth in their Industrial arm, they are actively seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join their team in Suffolk to aid the planning process.

Responsibilities

•    Project Programme Development:
Develop and manage detailed construction programmes (Primavera P6), ensuring alignment with nuclear safety protocols, site constraints, and critical path milestones.
•    Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
Track project progress against baseline schedules. Prepare regular programme updates, look-aheads, and earned value reports for internal stakeholders and client reporting.
•    Interface & Stakeholder Coordination:
Work closely with engineering, commercial, and site teams, as well as client and Tier 1 contractors, to ensure seamless planning integration across work packages.
•    Risk Identification & Mitigation Planning:
Identify programme risks and develop mitigation strategies, incorporating contingency planning in line with NEC4 contract requirements and nuclear regulatory standards.
•    Change Control & Forensic Analysis:
Manage change control processes and perform impact assessments for delays or variations. Support claims and EOT submissions with robust forensic schedule analysis.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on similar large scale construction projects
Must have UK Passport or RTW in the UK
